JAMMU, Dec 15: Chander Parkash Ganga, MLA Vijaypur today kick started the construction of link Road from Purmandal Devak near Shiv Mandir to Nabha Dass Mandir.
The cost of a project is 1 crore 23 lakh Rupees and it will upgrade the connectivity between two areas.
Speaking on the occasion Ganga said, “Purmandal was, is and will always be closest to my heart and to develop it at the best is not only my duty but also my religion. I have promised before the elections, to turn around the developmental scenario in and around Purmandal, now this is my first priority.”
“Construction of the road in this area was a long pending demand; it was getting very difficult for the people to commute through this link road. The PWD has taken up this work and I am sure that they will complete the project with proper quality standards” he added.
Among other who were present there included BJP senior leader Jai Ram, Sarpanch Joginder Sharma, Block President Girdhari Lal, BJYM Block President Vicky Panotra, BJP worker Gopal, Naresh and Sanjay Manyal.
