JAMMU, Mar 6: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Vijaypur Chander Parkash Ganga inaugurated development works at village Koulpur Panchayat Gadwal-B worth Rs 12 lakh from his CDF. He was accompanied by BDO Ramgarh Rakesh Dubey.
Exhibiting keen interest towards alleviation of problems of border areas, MLA laid foundation of drains on Keso-Nanga link road via Govingarh.
MLA also laid foundation stone of drainage channel near Gurdwara in Gudwal-B.
Three lanes and drains were also inaugurated in Panchayat Gudwal-B near Nakka and Panchayat Koulpur under CDF convergence mode constructed by Rural Development Department (RDD).
Later, speaking on the occasion of annual function of Aekagrata Mission Higher Secondary School he impressed upon the students to keep the environment clean and green. He also apprised students about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Swash Bharat Mission to make India really clean and plastic free.
