Ganga convenes public redressal camp at Pakhari

JAMMU, Aug 5: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Chander Prakash Ganga, today convened a mega public grievances redressal camp at village Pakhari in Ramgarh block to assess public issues besides taking their feedback regarding status of development works in their respective areas.
The MLA, while addressing the mammoth gathering, said that they are committed to look into and take up the public issues at the appropriate forum for redressal. He assured the people that all their issues have been recorded and would be taken up with the concerned for an early redressal.
The MLA also spelled out several initiatives of Modi Government and emphasized the need of taking these schemes to each section of the society. He also informed the people various innovative schemes launched by the Center Government for welfare and development of poor and under privileged segments of the society and exhorted the people to bring themselves under the ambit of these schemes to empower them socially, economically and politically as well.
Ganga, while castigating NC and Congress for opposing abrogation of Article 35-A, said that these parties and their supporters are misleading the innocent people giving them a false impression about Article 35-A that its revocation is against the interests of the State. He emphasized the need for raising awareness among the common masses about the evil designs behind this Article so that they could enjoy all the fundamental rights enshrined in the Indian constitution.
Cursing those who supported the nefarious designs of NC and Congress, the MLA said that both the political parties always misled the people of Jammu and Kashmir to satiate their hunger for power. “They should at least regard the mandate they have been given by the people”, he asserted.
Earlier, the MLA laid foundation stone for construction of hall near Gurudwara at Pakhari village, Ramgarh.
