Galgotias University gets top rankings in TEIR Survey

JAMMU, July 12: In the recently released prestigious Times Engineering Institute Ranking (TEIR) Survey, Galgotias University (Greater Noida, UP) has achieved top ranking in almost every sphere.
The University attained 12th rank in research capabilities, which proves how seriously the management at Galgotias and faculty has taken the Prime Minister’s appeal to encourage research in educational institutions.
If we talk about placement, then Galgotias University has attained 16th rank in the country’s top 70 institutions of the Times ranking. This shows that the innovative students at Galgotias have received high and attractive job offers and internship from both national and international companies.
The best example is Harin Mehta, the student of BTech in Computer Science (GCET) of Galgotias University who has been offered an attractive 30.25 lakh annual package for the American MNC, Amazon. Apart from this, he has also received a Rs 60,000 monthly internship package.
In the Times Engineering Institute Ranking Survey-2021 for country’s top 125 private engineering institutes, Galgotias University has received 16th ranking as well, while in the list of 175 engineering institutes that include IIT, Galgotias has once again achieved top 23rd ranking.
It is also important to know that Galgotias University has been included in the pharmacy category with top ranks in the 2020 National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) released by the Education Ministry, Government of India.
Galgotias University has also attained first rank in the state of Uttar Pradesh and fourth in all over India in the India Today’s MDRA Survey (May 2021) for private engineering institutions.
It is also worth mentioning that Galgotias is the first such university among country’s private universities, which has attained the glory of getting NBA accreditation at an extremely rapid pace. These programmes include Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Communication Engineering. This is yet another very good example of great performance by students of Galgotias.
Dhruv Galgotia, the young CEO of Galgotias University said, “By imparting training and soft-skill programmes the University has been able to improve the students abilities while for better placement opportunities it has entered into agreements with leading national as well as international companies such as Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant among others.”
He said the University has been running employment enhancement programmes and has aligned with Infosys-Campus Connect Programme, Cognizant Digital Nurture and Wipro Talent Next-2021 programmes for this. “All these efforts have led to better placements for the Galgotias B Tech and MBA students who passed out in 2021,” he added.
