Gagan Bhagat inaugurates several developmental works

JAMMU, June 13: MLA R S Pura Dr. Gagan Bhagat today kick-started several developmental works in R.S Pura Constituency.
At village Banota black-topping work was started by the MLA. A function was organized at Basti Banota, after the function Dr.Gagan Bhagat started the black topping near BSNL Exchange Gurdeep Vihar R.S Pura. The black topping work of the road was the longest pending demand of the locals , MLA said.
He said the road was an important connecting link between the R.S Pura and border and it was in dilapidated condition for past several years. The previous legislators did nothing except assurances, he added.
Dr.Gagan Bhagat said that , he will surely keep his poll promises, the total length of the Macadamization of road stretch is about two Kilometers, but was very vital and in the rainy season it was virtually impossibly to pass through the village. Regarding the demand of other roads of the area Dr.Bhagat said that he will try to get sanctioned those roads from the department and the concerned Minister in the coming days as this time the Legislature is in Session at Srinagar.
He further added that the developmental works which received a small brake, as the State was under the Governor rule since January 9thto 4th April this year.
While addressing the gathering at CHC R.S Pura , in an another function organized by the Health Department, where Dr.Gagan provided Ambulance under the B.A.D.P fund , Dr.Gagan said that the Union Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to provide all basic amenities to the people especially to those of the rural area including Health, drinking water, road connectivity, electricity, better drainage system and education, and the Union Government has been providing liberal funding which is separate from the Rs.80,000 crore Special P.M Package to the State.
Later he also assured the gathering of refugees at Railway Line Gagian, and the West Pakistan refugees at Village Jindlehar, that the Union Government will surely look into the their problems sympathetically.
