JAMMU, Mar 12: Referring to report carried by various newspapers on March 11, 2013 regarding “non-submission of Immoveable Property Returns (IPRs) by 96 IAS officers of J&K Cadre, the Government today clarified that the IAS officers are required to submit IPRs in terms of Rule 16(2) of the All India Service (Conduct) Rules, 1968, latest by January 31, 2013 to the Cadre Controlling Authority and majority of them have met the procedure.
The GAD spokesperson has clarified that 79 IAS officers of J&K Cadre have submitted their IPRs well in time, i.e. by January 31, 2013, to the General Administration Department, Civil Secretariat, Jammu and the same have been uploaded at the IPR portal of the DoPT website.
