PULWAMA, Apr 10: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today inaugurated a special fumigation tunnel installed by Muncipal Committee in the premises of District Hospital Pulwama.
The tunnel will help in sanitizing the medical, para medical staff and visitors to the hospital to prevent the spread of corona virus.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Raghav Langer, said that in the wake of coronavirus pandemic, installation of disinfectant sprinkler system to sanitize people entering and exiting the premises has become imperative. He said fumigation tunnel or sanitizer room will reduce the risk of infection and such novel steps are much needed at this juncture.
Director, Urban Local Bodies, Executive Officer MC, Pulwama, Medical Superintendent and other officers and officials were present on the occasion.
