KATRA, Apr 11: On the eve of Navratras, the Business unit of the Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board at `Bhawan’, has offered services of fresh currency notes exchange counter. The facility of fresh currency notes has been offered to facilitate the devotees coming here from all over the country.
Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) of Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board, Dr M K Bhandari, inaugurated the fresh currency note exchange counter in presence of SDM Bhawan, Ranjit Singh, Ravi Sharma, branch head of J&K Bank branch at Bhawan welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries on the occasion and presented mementos.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Bhandari lauded the relentless efforts of J&K Bank branch at Vaishnodevi Bhawan for providing services to the lakhs of pilgrims visiting here and also in the State for the upliftment of the weaker section, trade and industry. The Additional CEO also extended his gratitude to the Bank Management and the RBI for facilitating the devotees of Mata Vaishnodevi by providing fresh currency notes on Navratras.
A function in this connection was organized by the staff of branch unit at Bhawan. It was attended by SMVDSB, Police, local shopkeepers and large number of devotees.
