JAMMU, Oct 17: Asha Kiran Welfare Society organised a free medical camp at Shiv Shakti Temple Janipur Colony here.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Dara Singh, Medical Superintendent SMGS Hospital Jammu along with Dr Deepak Bhagat, Deputy Medical Superintendent, DRDO Hospital Bhagwati Nagar and Dr Sanjogita Sudan, Health Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation in presence of Sunita Gupta, Corporator Ward Number 37, Dr JP Gupta, Chairman, Dr Vikrant Sharma, President, Jaswant Manhas Vice President, Ashok Kumar Cashier, Hari Chand Sharma Joint Secretary, Vinod Kumar Organizing Secretary, Bodh Raj Sharma, etc.
Anil Kohli, Publicity Secretary presented the welcome address.
In the camp, more than 10 specialists including Dr Harsh Sharma, Dr Sanjeev Sharma, Dr Vikrant Sharma, Dr Neeru Khajuria, Dr Ghan Shyam Singh, Dr Kewal Thakur, Dr Repudaman Parihar, Suresh Chander Sharma, Ankush Khajuria, Mohan Lal Sharma, Rohit Kumar and Rajeev Gupta rendered their services.
Eight cataract patients were detected during the camp for eye operations.
More than 200 patients were examined and medicine prescribed were distributed free of cost.
In the end, President of the society presented vote of thanks.
