Free medical camp held

BARAMULLA, Sept 2: Living up to the motto and traditions of the Indian Army ‘Seva Parmo Dharma,’ the Sultanpur Kandi Army Camp of the Indian Army today organised a medical camp for the locals living in the area.
On the occasion, a total of 107 locals including women, children, 13 ex-servicemen and their dependents were treated by the regimental medical officers even as free medicines were also provided to all the patients.
Locals were also educated regarding the 3rd wave of COVID-19 as well as the importance of COVID vaccination and its benefits to fight the on-going pandemic.
The event proved to be a good platform for connecting with people, addressing their medical problems along with containing the spread of COVID-19 and reassuring the people of the Indian Army’s continued support in every sphere of their lives.
