Fraudster promising visas arrested

RAJOURI, Sept 8:  Police today arrested a fraudster, who allegedly duped people on the pretext  of sending them abroad on reasonable money.
The accused, identified as Mohd Rashid alias Parvez of Khorinar, Darhal in Rajouri, was arrested today following a series of complaints by the victims. He used to dupe people on the pretext that he could manage Visa for Saudi Arabia and other countries on reason able money, said Police.
While explaining modus operandi of the accused, Police said that he used to stay in Mumbai after collecting amount between Rs 50,000 to Rs 80, 0000 from the victims.       Around 14 complaints were received against the accused of duping people and he was trapped after a fresh complaint was lodged against him following which a team was constituted and he was nabbed.
Police has recovered six passports from his possession while he confessed his crime of duping people.
