Fraudster booked for duping on pretext of arranging job in Kenya

Jammu, Dec 11: Crime Branch Jammu has booked fraudsters for cheating and duping on pretext of arranging job in Kenya.
A criminal case under relevant sections of law has been registered against suspect- Amrit Pal Singh son of Sher Singh of Nehianwala District Bathinda Punjab and others for hatching a criminal conspiracy and duping the complainant of his hard earned money on the pretext of providing him job abroad.
The complainant namely Darshan Kumar, son of II Mool Raj of Thathri, Doda, was lured through a fake overseas job Consultancy viz “Expert World Overseas”, Sirsa, Haryana. He came into contact with said company through mobile numbers and believed them to be genuine and trustworthy for helping the youth to seek employment abroad.
The said company itself arranged air tickets and fulfilled other formalities of complainant for his job in Kenya without charging any amount initially but when they gave him employment letter he was made to transfer money in the Axis Bank Branch of the suspects towards air tickets and other formalities required for the visit. Later, the complainant was surprised to note that the said company cancelled the said air tickets and found himself duped.
On receipt of this complaint, a preliminary verification was got conducted and it was prima facie established that the accused person namely Amrit Pal Singh of Nehianwala, Bathinda Punjab in connivance with some other persons hatched a criminal conspiracy by opening a fake company under the name and style “Expert World Overseas” and cheated the complainant of his hard earned money on the pretext of providing him job in Kenya.
The omissions and commissions on the part of the accused and others prima facie constitute offences punishable under section 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B RPC. Accordingly, a formal case has been registered for in depth investigation by Crime Branch Jammu.
