JAMMU, Dec 6: ONCOFACTS, one of its kind initiatives on cancer awareness and education in India led by Jammu-based leading Radiation Oncologist Dr Vikas Roshan and coordinated by Kashmir-based physician Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo today released 4th edition of its cancer magazine “Onco-Illuminati”.
The fourth edition of the magazine covers important awareness topics (written by multiple authors) for cancer awareness like importance of healthy diet and nutrition for cancer prevention, advocacy for cancer control, role of bone marrow transplantation in cancer cure, breast cancer with its prevention and role of screening, prostate cancer and its prevention and role of genomic profiling in early detection of genetically inherited cancers including other topics.
Pertinent to mention here that the Magazine was launched in May this year. The main purpose of the magazine is to create mass awareness about cancer among people in general and to address the queries from cancer patients in particular. The Magazine can be accessed on official website oncofacts.in
