Srinagar, Mar 6: Police today said four residential houses were damaged in two separate fire incidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said fire broke out in house of Rafia Begum at Baranpather in Batamaloo area of city here. “Fire engulfed the nearby three residential houses belonging to Mohammad Yousuf, Abdul Rouf and Javaid Ahmad, resulting in damage to all the structures. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals,” he said.
A police spokesman said fire broke out in residential house of Abdullah Bijran at Kachwari village of Budgam district, resulting in damage to it. “Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals,” he said. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents, the spokesman added.
