JAMMU, May 10: Four persons were injured in the collision of a truck and a car in Akhnoor area of city outskirts, late last night.
According to a police spokesman, a truck without registration number which was on its way from Rajouri towards Jammu hit an Alto car bearing temporary registration number JMUBP-7345, on reaching Tanda.
He said that about four passengers of the Alto car sustained injuries in the mishap and they were shifted to Sub District Hospital Akhnoor for treatment, from where they were later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
The injured were identified as Shashi Bala (55) wife of Pawan Kumar, resident of Raya Siot (Choki Choura), Sharda Devi (40) wife of Rameshwar, resident of Patrarha (Sunderbani), Shakuntla Devi (90) wife of late Badrinath, resident of Rehari Colony and Ramsaroop (50) son of Ramvhjay, resident of Rayasiot (Choki Choura).
In this connection, a case FIR No 86/2017 under Sections 279/337 RPC was registered at police station Akhnoor and investigations started.
