JAMMU : Four people including the jawan of Border Security Force (BSF) today got injured when Pak Rangers fired at forward Indian posts in Arnia Sector along the Indo-Pak International Border in this winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
‘Pak Rangers this morning at around 1140 hrs targeted forward Pittal Post by firing small arms in Arnia Sector, official sources here told.
They said three labourers working in the fields close to the fence and a BSF jawan of 192 Battalion got injured in the firing.
‘The BSF troops also retaliated,’ he said and added that intermittent firing was in progress when the last reports came in.
BSF officials and Pak Rangers yesterday held a flag meeting at Chambliyal Post in Ramgarh sector and discussed the issue of cross border firing and cultivation of ‘sarkanda’ wild buses along the IB.
