Four injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, July 23: Four persons including a Selection Grade Constable of J&K Police were injured today in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a Selection Grade Constable of J&K Police identified as Manzoor Ahmed son of Mohd Hussain, a resident of Banihal, was injured after being hit by a car bearing registration number JK02AS-8483 at Sidhra area of city outskirts.
A pedestrian identified as Geeta Devi (27) daughter of Shanker Dass, a resident of Roop Nagar was also hit and injured by a car while crossing a road at Roop Nagar area of city outskirts.
One person identified as Roshan Lal (30) son of Shiv Dayal, a resident of Vijaypur, was also injured, when the bike he was travelling on, was hit by a mini-bus at Sainik Colony.
A youth identified as Kulbir Kumar (24) son of Ajit Raj, a resident of RS Pura also received injuries when his bike collided with an auto near Sidra in RS Pura.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
