Four injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, May 9: Two persons were injured in a road accident at Chowki Choura area of Akhnoor Tehsil while two others were injured in separate road mishaps in outskirts of this winter capital of the State.
According to a police spokesperson, two persons identified as Naresh Sharma (32) son of Bhagat Ram and Kishori Lal (60) son of Lochan Dass, both residents of Budhal (Rajouri) was injured when a truck bearing registration number JK02M-9737 turned turtle at Chowki Choura in Akhnoor Tehsil.
A pedestrian identified as Jasi Singh (23) son of Satpal Singh, a resident of Chattha received injuries when he was hit by an unknown vehicle at Karan Bagh area falling under the jurisdiction of police post Gadigarh.
A 62-year old man identified as Devi Singh Slathia (67) son of Jaswant Singh, a resident of Muthi, was hit and injured by an unknown vehicle near Green Land Palace, Muthi.
All the injured have been shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
