MENDHAR, Aug 8: Four persons were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident and landed in a deep gorge here today.
Sources said that the mishap took place at Kasbalari area in Mendhar when the speeding car of Tata Sumo make turned turtle and fell in a gorge.
The ill fated vehicle bearing number JK02-3948 was on its way to Poonch from Kasbari when the mishap occurred at Kasblari village.
The injured were identified as Nazir Hussain, son of, Mohd Yousaf, 40, resident of Dengla Poonch; Driver Mohd Shakil, 27, resident of Jendrola Mandi; Mohd Sharief, son of, Mohd Sadeeq, 38, resident of Dengla, Poonch and Khushdad Hussain Shah, 48, resident of Bandi Chechian, Poonch.
Police sources informed that the injured were shifted to Raja Sukhdev Hospital Poonch where they were undergoing treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigations.
