Four injured in clash at Tamore village

SAMBA, Aug 3: Four persons were injured in the domestic violence at village Tamore falling under the jurisdiction of Vijaypur Police Station.
The wounded persons were immediately rushed to the Emergency Hospital Vijaypur. After the first aid, they were referred to GMC Jammu for treatment as their condition was serious. The injured have been identified as Sunny, son Yashpal resident of Tali Morh, Mirasahab, Preeti Devi, wife Somnath and Som Nath’s son Bachan Lal, both belong to Tamore village.
According to information, Somnath was assaulting his wife and the case was registered in the Vijaypur Police Station. Somnath’s brother-in-law, Sunny, was also in the process of resolving the matter. The two sides reached Vijaypur Police Station early in the morning today.
The police officers intervened and gave a good counseling to both the sides and sent them home. As soon as they reached Tamore, Somnath attacked his brother in-law with sharp edged weapons and his wife Preeti. Somnath himself was also injured in the attack.
All the injured were taken to Emergency Hospital, Vijaypur. After the first aid, all the injured were referred to GMC Jammu. Vijaypur Police has started the investigation and registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
SDPO, Vijaypur Daljit Singh said that it was a matrimonial case and the family had gone to Women Cell also. Today they attacked each other resulting into injuries to three persons and the police registered an FIR against them and started investigation.
