KISHTWAR, July 21: A road accident near Kuriya area here today on Kishtwar-Chhatroo road left four persons injured.

As per sources, the ill fated vehicle of Alto make bearing registration number JK17A-2283 skidded off the road and landed in a deep gorge near Kuriya bridge in Dadpeth area of mountainous Kishtwar district leaving all the four persons onboard injured.
After the accident, locals along with cops rushed to the spot and started a rescue operation and shifted the injured to District Hospital Kishtwar for treatment.
The injured were identified as Sahil Amin, son of Mohd. Amin, resident of Malipeth, Kishtwar; Mohd Usman, son of Gh. Hussain Sheikh, resident of Layen, Kishtwar; Mutaib Ahmed, son of Imtiyaz Ahmed, resident of Layen, Kishtwar and Amir Ayoub, son of Mohd Ayoub Zargar, resident of Semna Colony, Kishtwar.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
