Four held with Rs 5,300 stake money, playing cards

JAMMU, May 11: Channi Himmat police arrested four persons along with Rs 5,300 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, police team from Channi Himmat police station conducted a raid in Channi Rama area and arrested four persons along with Rs 5,300 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Rohit Singh, son of Dhian Singh of Channi, Rafaqat Hussain, son of Barkat of Channi Rama, Sahil, son of Rajinder Kumar of Channi and Shakeel Mohammad, son of Abdul Majid of Channi Rama.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Channi Himmat police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Channi Himmat police station Inspector Aejaz Wani conducted the raid and made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq Manhas and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
