JAMMU, Sept 15: Four persons were nabbed today by Akhnoor police along with 800 gram charas.
According to a police official, during routine patrolling duty, a police team of police station Akhnoor noticed four persons sitting in an isolated place near a seasonal nallah in Hangani area of Akhnoor but on seeing the police, all the four persons tried to flee.
However, the police chased and caught them and recovered 43 ‘challian’ of charas (approx 800 gram) from their possession. All the accused were arrested and the contraband seized, the official said, adding, a case FIR Number 150/2020 under 8/20/29 NDPS Act was registered in this connection at police station Akhnoor and further investigation started.
