JAMMU, Aug 10: Channi Himmat police today arrested four gamblers alongwith Rs 3,190 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, a team from Channi Himmat Police Station conducted a raid and arrested four gamblers alongwith Rs 3,190 stake money and playing cards.
The gamblers have been identified as Mukesh, son of Halko, Bablu, son of Ram Parsad, Bhagwan Dass, son of Nathu Ram and Achi Lal, son of Sanju, all residents of Chatterpur, Uttar Pradesh, presently residing in Sector 1, Channi Himmat.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Channi Himmat Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Channi Himmat Police Station Aejaz Wani made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq, SP South Rahul Malik and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
