JAMMU, Mar 17: With four more persons today testing positive for H1N1 virus, the total number of swine flu cases in Jammu region has climbed to 83.
According to Director Health Jammu, BS Pathania, 14 reports were received today by the Health Department, Jammu out of which four were found to be positive for H1N1 virus while the other 10 were negative.
“With this the total number of swine flu cases in Jammu region has reached to 83”, he said, adding till date the department has received 327 reports from New Delhi out of which 83 were positive for H1N1 and 244 were negative.
He said that six more swab samples of suspected patients were sent today for testing to New Delhi.
