JAMMU, May 14: Bakshi Nagar police apprehended four absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on reliable information, teams from Bakshi Nagar Police Station conducted raids and arrested four absconders, who were at large since long.
The accused have been identified as Amit Gill, son of Tarsem Lal Gill of Dogra Hall, Jammu, Sunil Kumar, son of Gareeb Dass of Reshamgarh Colony, Som Nath alias Somi, son of Girdhari Lal of Krishna Nagar and Manish Khanna, son of Jatinder Khanna of Rehari Colony.
They were involved in cases registered under FIR Numbers 126/12 under Sections 452, 323 and 34 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act, FIR Number 258/1990 under Section 457 and 380 RPC and FIR Number 31/12 under Sections 341, 323 and 34 RPC.
Further investigation into the cases registered against the arrested absconders is going on.
Police teams led by SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Naresh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO West Pranav Mahajan, SP City Dr Vinod Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
