LEH, Aug 30: Chairman & Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Leh Gyal P Wangyal here today laid foundation stone of Multi Level Car Parking near Moti-Market.
This six storey parking facility will be coming up at a cost of Rs. 27 crore under AMRUT and will have the parking facility for 238 cars.
Speaking on the occasion the CEC said that this multi level car parking facility will play a vital role in decongestion of vehicular traffic in Leh town besides providing a convenient driving ambience to the general people.
He urged PWD authorities to complete the parking project at the earliest.
Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Leh, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Addl District Development Commissioner, Leh Moses Kunzang, Chief Engineer, PWD, Angorana, engineers and district officers were also present on this occasion.
Later, the CEC and DC along with a team of engineers inspected the progress of Balkhang-Polo ground link road which will be completed very soon to facilitate the people living in the town.
