JAMMU, Mar 7: The monthly meeting of All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers’ Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of vice-president Anil Sharma.
Various issues of the School Education Department and grievances of the +2 Cadre were deliberated during the meeting. The speakers expressed strong resentment over the delaying policy of the School Education Department with regard to the regularization of the I/C Lecturers, Principals, Chief Education Officers, Joint Directors etc and demanded immediate regularization of these Incharge officers without referring their cases to the PSC. The members also demanded the benefit of Running Pattern in favour of +2 Cadre on the pattern of that accorded to the Veterinary & Ayurvedic Doctors and Assistant Professors in the Higher Education Department.
The meeting also expressed strong resentment over decision of the JKBOSE to collect the packet of question papers from the Police Stations and demanded that the practice be changed and the question papers be supplied to the Superintendents at the Centres on the pattern of SSRB. The members also demanded the implementation of the Govt Circular regarding the issuance of Personal documents such as GPF and completion of APRs by the concerned DDOs at the end of each financial year. It was also requested to the Chairman JKBOSE to set up evaluation centres at the District Level to expedite the process of evaluation and timely declaration of the result.
The meeting was attended by R S Slathia, Ashok Sharma, Pawan Abrol, Daleep Kumar, Dushyant Singh, Puran Singh, Sanjay Badyal, Dr Sushma, Sanjay Bhagat, Pardeep Singh, Deepak Sharma, Narinder Sharma and others.
