JAMMU, Apr 20: Fortis Escorts Hospital Amritsar organized a comprehensive Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on “Advancement in Renal Sciences” at Jammu, drawing participation from a large number of doctors and healthcare professionals from across the region.
The session served as an important academic platform focusing on the latest developments in nephrology and urology, with experts sharing insights on modern treatment approaches, preventive strategies and evolving clinical practices aimed at improving patient outcomes.
During the CME, Dr Gaurav Singla, Consultant – Nephrology, delivered a detailed presentation on “Recent Advances in Management of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)”. He emphasized the significance of early diagnosis, timely intervention and the adoption of innovative treatment protocols to effectively manage the growing burden of CKD.
Dr Manbir Singh, Consultant – Urology, addressed the gathering on “Breaking the Cycle: Frontiers in Renal Stone Prevention & Treatment”. His talk highlighted the importance of preventive care, lifestyle modifications and the use of advanced minimally invasive techniques in the management and treatment of renal stones.
