Formation of PDP-BJP Govt will be historical event: LJP

JAMMU, Feb 23: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) said that the formation of PDP-BJP Government in Jammu and Kashmir would be a historical event and hoped that the Government would work for all caste, creed and cultures.
This was stated by Sanjay Saraf, National President (Yuva) and National Spokesperson, LJP during a press conference here today. Syed Farid, State president, KL Sharma, State president, Legal Cell, Sanjay Raina, State President, Migrant Cell, Bodh Raj, State general secretary, Dev Raj, Provincial President Jammu were also present.
Saraf added that LJP strongly feels that the people of Jammu and Kashmir will be benefited from this Coalition Government as the new coalition will focus on more development and unemployment issues confronting the State.
He stated that the LJP National President and Minister had given steel plant in Lassipora, district Pulwama in 2008 but the previous Government of NC-Congress ignored it.
He urged the Government to speed up the remaining work of steel plant so that the people of the State are benefited by its completion and functioning.
Saraf also urged the Governor to provide cheap electricity to the people living in the backward areas of the State.
LJP has re-organised its State unit by appointing the office bearers with the objective of strengthening the base of the party in Jammu and Kashmir, he informed.
He demanded that the relief of the Kashmiri Pandits should be increased as they are facing lots of hardships and further health insurance should be started in favour of Kashmiri Pandits.
