POONCH, Nov 30: The Government has suspended two employees of the Forest department including an I/C Forester, for felling dozens of green trees by the mafia and causing damage to the forest in Loran area of Haveli Range in Poonch Forest Division.
Official sources said that after receiving report about damage caused to forests in Bracher Beat area of Loran Block in Mandi area of Haveli Range, DFO Poonch Suresh Manda initiated an inquiry and placed I/C Block Officer Javed Iqbal Tantray ( Forester) and Beat Guard, Tariq Ali Shah under suspension. They were attached to the office of DFO Poonch, till further inquiry.
