JAMMU, Sept 7: Non-Gazetted Forest Employees Association has urged upon the Minister for Forests Ch Lal Singh and other senior officials of the department for addressing long pending demands of the employees.
In a meeting of the NGFEA held here today, its members urged upon the higher authorities in the department to conduct DPC of all cadre, provide extra pay of two and half days to the field staff and remove pay anomalies of all cadres. They demanded pay parity with Police department. The Association also lauded the efforts of Forest Minister for taking keen initiative to make plantation a grand success with the full support of employees in the region recently.
