KATHUA, Dec 22: As per a communication received by DFO Kathua, Rahul Singh, a departmental team comprising Block Forest Officer, Basantpur and other staff today seized a tractor trolley bearing registration number JK08 E 8015 along with 30 numbers of P.C.C Fence Post which was hidden under the garb of Green Bamboo clumps.
The team was informed that someone has uprooted the poles from Compartment 18/K located at Lohri Khad, Karroh of Basantpur Block of Kathua Range and loaded the same in tractor trolley.
A case under Jammu & Kashmir Forest Conservation Act has been registered and FIR has also been lodged in Lakhanpur Police Station under theft of Government property against the offenders, DFO added.
