KATHUA, July 14: A Football match was organised between Sports Council Football Academy Kathua and United Football Club Kathua on the direction of J&K Sports Council Secretary, Nuzhat Gul at Sports Stadium, here today.
The sole objective of the match was to prepare players for the upcoming Soccer league and to inculcate sports values among them.
Both the teams started the match with aggressively wherein Anikat and Shiv Dayal of United FC Kathua scored each goal for their team, whereas Harsh and Krish also netted one each goal for Sports Council Football Academy Kathua, thus the match ended in draw as both the teams scored two goals each.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest, Sukhdev Singh Jamwal appreciated the role of the organisers to conduct this match and extended full cooperation for upcoming matches. The match was officiated by Satish Kumar, SAI Football coach.
Iqbal Singh, In-charge Manager Sports Stadium Kathua, Inderpal Singh, Weightlifting coach, Shakeel Ahmad, president DFA Kathua, Rajinder Singh, Satpal Singh, Football coach were also present during the event.
