Food Safety officers lift samples of Khoya, destroy rotten items

JAMMU, Oct 10: A team of Food Safety officers of Drugs and Food Control Organization carried out surprise check in the market area of Canal Road, Bus Stand and Hari Market where six samples of Khoya and one sample of preserved fruit were lifted for checking the quality.
Moreover, M/s India Fast Food at Bus Stand area was booked for carrying out business under unhygienic and unsanitary condition. 20 kg snacks were destroyed on the spot.
10 kg of rotten tomatoes were destroyed at Shree Krishna Dhabha, Hari Market Jammu where 5 litres of Lassi was also destroyed.
