FMHW organises protest march

JAMMU, Aug 27: Jammu Kashmir Female Multipurpose Health Workers (FMHW) Welfare Association here today under the leadership of its president Neelam Kumari and Sushil Sudan president JKMEF took out a protest march from the office complex of Director Health Services to the office of Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Jammu.
The protestor were rising anti-Government slogans and demanded permanent solution of salary of 2211 head.
The protesters said that they will not participate in the MR Vaccination programme starting from September 1 and extended their protest for another three days from Aug 28 to 30.
Talking to reporters Neelam Kumari demanded permanent solution to the problems of FMPHW of Jammu province.
Prominent among those who participated in the protest were Surya Akhter, Sapna Gupta, Kamla Devi, Anchal Devi, S. Harpal Singh, R.P Singh, Yougal Bakshi, Anoop Singh, Kulraj Bitu and others.
