Five vehicles involved in illegal mining seized

JAMMU, July 27: Jammu police today seized five vehicles involved in illegal mining from different areas of the district.
The teams of police station Jhajjar Kotli as well as police post Jourian and Belicharana on specific inputs raided different locations in their respective areas and seized five different vehicles involved in illegal mining.
The vehicles involved in illegal mining in Jhajjar Kotli were two tractor trolleys bearing registration numbers JK02BG-4153, JK02BB-2168 and one tipper bearing registration number JK14A-9607. One tractor each (without any registration number) was seized by police post Jourian and Belicharana.
The seizures were made by SHO police station Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Devinder Singh, Incharge police post Jourian Inspector Kunal Singh Jamwal and Incharge police post Belicharana ASI Sanjeet Singh in their respective jurisdictions.
The mining was being done in violation of order of High Court of J&K.
