SRINAGAR, July 27: In continuation to stringent actions against absconders, Baramulla Police today said to have arrested two absconders who were evading their arrest since 1997.
A Police party headed by SHO PS Baramulla under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla Shri Syed Sajad Hussain-JKPS succeeded in arresting two absconders who were evading their arrest for a long.
“They have been identified as Khursheed Ahmad Ahanger son of Nazir Ahmad Ahanger resident of Azadgunj Baramulla & Tariq Ahmad Mir son of Ab Khaliq Mir resident of Kakerhamam Baramulla. They were wanted by law for their involvement in Case FIR No. 50/1997 of PS Baramulla,” police said.
The arrested accused persons have been produced before the Court wherefrom they were shifted to jail.
