Five polytechnic students selected in Campus Placement Drive

JAMMU, Jan 31: A placement drive was held here at Government Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk by M/s Mudrakshi Hytech India Pvt Ltd for the pass-out students of three year diploma in Mechanical Engineering for Service Engineers in Jammu SBI, SCAB (Special Currency Admin Branch).
The company deals with sales and servicing of Note Sorting Machines in the Bank branches across India. A total of 18 candidates appeared in the interview and finally five were selected.
Sajad Hussain Ganai, Director Technical Education handed over the appointment letters to the selected students and encouraged the students to convert the challenges into fruitful opportunities by continuous hard work and dedication.
He hailed the efforts of the College in organizing campus placement for the students.
Arun Bangotra, Principal of Polytechnic thanked M/s Mudrakshi Hytech India Pvt Ltd for providing job opportunities to the students.
N. Chakarborty, Director M/s Mudrakshi Hytech and Koushok Alu, Project Coordinator conducted the campus placement and expressed satisfaction with the quality of diploma candidates and support provided by college management for smooth conduct of drive.
A handout stated that the selected candidates will undergo training in Delhi from Feb 3, 2020 and will be paid a monthly salary between Rs. 12,000 to 15,000 besides other allowances.
Mohd Shafi Bhat, Joint Director Technical Education, K.S Bhatia, HoD Mechanical Engg, Rajesh Khajuria, Training and Placement Officer of the College were also present on the occasion.
