Five injured in separate road mishaps

JAMMU, Sept 5: Five persons were injured in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, three persons identified as Jagjeet Kumar (35) son of Parkash Chand, resident of Suhanjana, Rajni Devi (25) wife of Babu, resident of Phalian Mandal and Bimla Devi (50) wife of Bahadur Lal, resident of Satwari, were injured in the collision of a Maruti car and a Wagon-R at Simbal Morh, late last night.
A motorcyclist identified as Narinder Sharma (38) son of Ramanand, resident of Nanak Nagar, was today hit and injured by an unknown vehicle near DC Office, Jammu.
A Head Constable of IRP 4th Battalion namely Kuldeep Raj (66) son of late Sunder Dass, resident of Jandial (Amb Garota) sustained injuries when the scooter he was riding on was hit by a car at Patoli.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
