Five injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, Feb 7: Five persons were injured in different road accidents in Budgam and Sopore districts of the Valley today.
A police spokesman said that in Budgam district, a tractor hit a motorcycle ridden by Feroz Ahmad Para, a resident of Rahkhai Chrar-e-Sharif at Kalai Bazar. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Chrar-e-Sharif for treatment where from he was shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for further treatment.
“In another accident, a Santro car collided with a Scooty at Pakherpora crossing resulting in injuries to the scooty rider Adil Ahmad Dar, a resident of Wagni Darwan. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Pakherpora for treatment,” he said
“In Sopore area of Baramulla district, an Alto K-10 with a truck on National Highway at Putkhah in the jurisdiction of Police Station Tarzoo, resulting in injuries to three persons identified as Syed Himayat, Ishfaq Hussain Sofi both residents of Bran Pattan and Hyder Ali Khan, a resident of Tangmarg. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Pattan for treatment where from they were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment,” he added
Police has registered cases in both the accidents and investigations were taken up.
