Five drug peddlers arrested with heroin, cash, other items

JAMMU, June 2: Janipur Police arrested five drug peddlers along with heroin, cash and other items.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Ajaz Haider conducted raid in a house at Suraksha Vihar Paloura and apprehended five drug peddlers along with 34 grams of heroin, two digital weighing machines, one sharp edged weapons, 2 foil wrappers and Rs 2.38 lakh cash.
The arrested persons were identified as Jugal Kishore alias Lucky, son of Inder Dev of Sunderbani, District Rajouri, Dheeraj Kumar, son of Dev Raj of Sunderbani District Rajouri, Sumeet Kumar, son of Ghani Sharma of Sunderbani District Rajouri, Saurab Thakur, son of Joginder Singh of Katra District Reasi and Himanshu Raina, son of Ashok Kumar of Sunderbani District Rajouri.
A case FIR Number 61/2022 under Sections 8/21/22/25/27 (A) and 29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
