UDHAMPUR, Oct 23: Organized by renowned artist of Jammu K K Gandhi, a five-day long National level art workshop concluded today.
The workshop was an initiative by Northern Command initiative and it was organized under the aegis of HQ 71 Sub Area. Total eight artists of national and international repute participated in the five-day long event. They all exhibited their rich experience and finest skills in their paintings.
The event was inaugurated by COS Northern Command. The army organizers provided all the artists with a touch of nature at Patnitop where they enjoyed the Gondola ride also. In the later part of the event, AWWA regional president also joined practically and provided all the logistics to entertain and felicitate the artists which included the Grand Army Band display and Musical night.
The artists conducted an art workshop for the students and children to educate them to create their interest about visual arts. On the last day, all the participating artists made live paintings in the presence of a large gathering of civilians and army personnel which received tremendous applause by the spectators.
