Govt prepared to dissuss every issue: Yogi

Lucknow, May 23. Describing the past five years as an era of ‘good governance’, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel applauded the Yogi Government for laying the foundation of development in the state during their first term.
During her address to the joint session of the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh on Monday, Patel said, A grand building of development will take shape on the foundation laid during the first term in the next five years. To achieve the goal, the efforts are being made to increase investment and strengthen infrastructure to make Uttar Pradesh a leading state on multiple fronts in the country.
Congratulating Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the historic mandate in the recent Assembly elections, she said, “In the next five years, UP Government will compete with itself to further strengthen the good governance.”
Some members of the opposition party also tried to create disturbance during the Governor’s address, but she read out her entire address without stopping. Appreciating the better law and order situation in the state, Patel expressed happiness over the peaceful completion of various festivals in the recent past.
Governor mentioned the efforts being made by the Government in all areas including housing, social security, pension schemes, industrial investment, infrastructure development, education, health, and women’s upliftment. She also stated that work would be done while fixing the timeline for implementation of projects and focus would be on performance-based works.
Like before, the UP Government will be ready to provide transparent and accountable governance and honest and sensitive administration to the people of the state. For this purpose, separate groups of all the ministers of the state government have been constituted, she said.
By visiting different districts, direct communication is being established with the people via ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ by groups of ministers. Moreover, special efforts are being made to solve the problems of the respected citizens of the weaker sections of society.
Expressing confidence that every promise made to the people of the state through Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra-2022 will be fulfilled, she stated that the government has asked every department to prepare sector-wise 100-day, 6-month, 1-year, 2-year, and 5-year major action plans. Work on these action plans has already started. Reiterating the Prime Minister’s mantra ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas’, Anandiben Patel expressed confidence that all the members will make their valuable contribution in fulfilling the aspirations of the people by cooperating with the government in the larger interest of the general public of the state and will maintain the high dignity and sanctity of this house.
