First Sindhu Kumbh to be held in Leh from June 22 to 27: SDYS

JAMMU, Mar 9: Sindhu Darshan Yatra Samiti (SDYS) today announced the historic “Pratham Sindhu Kumbh” to be organized as part of the 30th Sindhu Darshan Yatra 2026. The grand religious and cultural event will take place in Leh-Ladakh from 22nd to 27th June 2026.
This was stated at a joint press conference by office bearers of Sindhu Darshan Yatra Samiti and Himalyan Parivar here.

They said registrations for the yatra have already started and the last date for registration is May 15 this year.
The Sindhu Darshan Yatra, which began in 1997 under the guidance of Dr. Indresh Kumar, senior Pracharak, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is celebrating its 30th year in 2026. The yatra symbolizes India’s ancient cultural heritage and promotes national unity by bringing together devotees, saints and social organizations from across the country.
During the event, religious rituals, cultural programmes and patriotic activities will be organized. Special campaigns such as “Tiranga for POK, Tiranga for Kailash and Tiranga for Sindh” will also be conducted.
Those present during the press conference included Vikram Randhawa, MLA Jammu Bahu and national vice president, Himalayan Parivar, Satish Mittal, State president, Himalayan Parivar, Suneet Raina, State president, Sindhu Darshan Yatra Samiti, Purnima Sharma former Deputy Mayor Jammu and State Mahila Wing president, Himalayan Parivar and Narinder Aggarwal State general secretary, Himalayan Parivar among others.
The Sindhu Darshan Yatra Samiti appealed to devotees, youth and social organizations across the country to participate in large numbers and make the historic Pratham Sindhu Kumbh a grand success.
