JAMMU, Nov 26: Marking a major milestone in its mission to promote quality education in sports and physical fitness, the first batch for Bachelor of Physical Education & Sports (BPES) was commenced at Trikuta College of Physical Education, here today.
The inaugural ceremony witnessed the participation of students, parents, faculty members and dignitaries of the Management.
Speakers highlighted the increasing relevance of scientific training, sports education and fitness sciences in shaping modern careers.
The event was inaugurated by Chairperson of the Trust, Suman Sharma and others who graced the occasion were Managing Directors, Ritesh Sharma, Ravish Sharma and CEO’s, Japna Sharma, Jasuda Sharma and Dr Nitin Mahajan.
The newly introduced BPES programme aims to provide students with contemporary knowledge in physical education, sports training, human performance and fitness sciences, preparing them for diverse professional opportunities in the sports sector, physical education teaching and higher studies.
With advanced sports facilities, an experienced faculty and a student-centric academic ecosystem, Trikuta College of Physical Education is poised to become a key centre for sports education in the region.
