First-aid training for traffic personnel conclude

JAMMU, Aug 19: Three-day First-aid training for 30 traffic police personnel concluded today here at Red Cross Bhawan.
The training programme was organized by Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) under the aegis of St John Ambulance (India), NHQ, New Delhi with the motto of minimizing the loss during any kind of medical emergencies.
The training was imparted by Dr TR Raina, ex Prof & HOD, Department of Blood Transfusion, GMCH, Dr Ranbhushan Singh, Senior Anesthetic and Disaster Management Preparedness expert, Dr Vikrant Sharma, senior Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr Rajinder Thappa, senior Consultant, Dr Samriti, BLS & Master Trainer, Kanchan Devi, Supervisor Pharmacist and Vironica Marwah, Field Officer.
In the end, all the 30 traffic police personnel that underwent a training were awarded the Provisional Certificates (of having successfully completed the training) by Avinash Rai Khanna, National Vice-Chairman of the IRCS, New Delhi.
