JAMMU, June 14: A mysterious fire broke out at a hillock in forest area of Chowadi, on outskirts of the city.
As soon as the locals noticed the flames and smoke over the forest area, they informed the officials of Fire and Emergency Services Department.
The Department immediately pressed its vehicles into service to douse the fire but as per the reports, the fire tenders could not reach the spot of the fire, on the hillock.
Though locals tried their best to douse the flames along with officials of Forest Department but the fire could not be controlled and it caused damage to forest resources.
