Srinagar, Feb 7: A massive fire erupted in a residential-cum-commercial building in the Bagh-e-Mehtab area of Srinagar late in the evening today.
Officials reported that the structure, which also houses storage tanks for diapers, was engulfed in flames.
“Our personnel and equipment are actively engaged in extinguishing the fire; every effort is being made to control the situation,” stated an official.
As of the latest update, the Fire & Emergency Department remains on-site, combating the blaze.
