JAMMU, May 18: A fire broke out in mobile tower system atop a commercial building located in Bahu Plaza area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bahu Fort Police Station, here.
As per police sources, a fire broke out probably due to short circuit in mobile tower system atop a commercial building located in Bahu Plaza area.
The cell phone tower belonging to private telecom operator was located on the terrace of TRG Hotel at Bahu Plaza.

After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with tenders rushed to the spot and after hectic efforts, brought the fire under control.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Bahu Fort police has taken cognizance in this regards.
